Searching for a title is not always an easy deal….For this particular one “Cool beans” seemed appropriate since it’s a curious phrase that uses nonsense to bring humor into a joyful exclamation, plus “bean” in greek is “fasoli” and Mr. Fasolias is the main character behind this trip and “cool” best describes the whole story…

Yes, it was that penguin alert week, when everybody went crazy about cold weather and dumping meters of snow in Athens and pretty much everywhere around Greece… It was that particular week that we decided to follow mr. Fasolias on this trip… You probably haven’t yet realised where we’re off to, but this is all part of the plan… Ιt was kind of a secret mission just to keep the spots we were about to visit unharmed, so let’s just say that we were off to carve some fresh pow waves somewhere around the tzatzikiland…

'if we had to make a gypsy van look embarassed we would have won big time!'
The crew originally consisted of 5 people but since the day of departure they were never really 5…there was always someone on and off the van in which we must mention- was packed with maybe 13-15 boards inside and outside,a whole minimarket of food plus carveboards, skateboards, yogamats and a variety of luggage for each one of us…i think that if we had to make a gypsy van look embarrassed we would have won big time!

So now that you got the idea more or less i will let you enjoy some photos i managed to take in between sessions and filming in the gallery below… i am saying “managed” because i was lucky enough to survive on the first 2 days but then i had this major breakdown and spent 3 days into total darkness fighting with fever, coughing my lungs out and taking a lot of pills closed in the most 80’sh hotel room thinking about life goals and solitude…

A little video is in the works which will be ready in the next days…i want to thank all the fasolias tours personnel – Missas,Plytas,Rotsos and of course Fasolias – for taking care of me and hopefully on the next trip i’ll try and stay healthier and in better shape…
